Q: How is the townhouse equipped?
A: Our townhouse is air-conditioned, with a king-sized bed and cable TV in the beach-front bedroom, and a queen-sized bed in the second bedroom. There is a pull-out queen bed in the living room. The fully equipped kitchen has a microwave, stove, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, toaster-oven, etc. The living room has a widescreen LCD TV, DVD, and stereo system. Outside is a beach shower. The downstairs bathroom has a shower while the en-suite bathroom upstairs has both a shower and bath.

Q: Where can we eat in Panama City Beach?
A: Fine restaurants abound in the beach. There are many more in Panama City, about a twenty minute drive.

Q: Are there any Golf courses in the PCB area?
A: In a recent Golf Digest, Panama City was ranked the 3rd best metropolitan area in the United States for public golf, ahead of all other Florida communities. There are about a dozen courses in the area to suit varying ability and pocket books. Among which are the famous Hombre Golf Club and Lagoon Legend.

Q: Are there any public tennis courts or swimming pools nearby?
A: Frank K Brown Memorial Park, a five minute drive away, has free tennis courts with flood lights, open from dawn to 11PM. It also has an Olympic size swimming pool, wading pool, and diving complex, which can be accessed for a small fee.

Q: What are the average temperatures?weather channel
A: Although PCB enjoys the mild winters and hot summers typical of the North Gulf Coast; it is a true year round resort attracting many summer visitors from throughout the North American continent and Europe. January is the coolest month with average high/low 62/44 ºF (16/7 ºC), August being the warmest at 88/75 ºF (31/24 ºC)

Q:How is the fishing?
A: Fishing from shore or one of several fishing piers will often provide good results depending on the time of year. In addition there are many local deep sea fishing charters on the Beach.

Q: Is there any local diving?
A: There are at least a dozen local dive centers and charters and dozens of dive sites. Check out diving at www.florida-scuba.com/panama.htm

Q: What else is there to do in PCB?
A: Although our townhouse is located on one of the quietest parts of the beach, there are many nearby attractions. In or nearby the beach is: Gulf World, Ocean Opry Show, Ebro Greyhound Park, Museum of Man and the Sea, the Panama City Art District, St Andrews State Park, the Marina Civic Center and the Martin theatre, Restaurants, and Shopping. Plus numerous events throughout the year.

Q:Where exactly is Panama City Beach?
A: PCB is located on the North Gulf Coast on the Florida Panhandle midway between the state Capitol, Talahasee, and Pensacola.

Q: How can I get to PCB?
A: By car from anywhere in continental North America. And by Air to Panama City Airport (twenty minutes away) or Okaloosa Regional Airport in Valparaiso (about an hour away).

Q: Where is your townhouse?
A: On the beach on Front Beach Road (also known as Alt 98 and 30). Travelling East: it is 5 miles East of the intersection of HWY 98 and Front Beach Road. 0.9 Miles West of the intersection of 79 and Front Beach Road (directly across from the entrance to Portside resort).

Q: What about the beach itself?
A: With over 27 miles of sugary white sand along the Emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico, Panama City Beach is the ultimate vacation destination. Swimming, sunning, parasailing, jetskiing, sailing, fishing, boating... the list is never-ending. Panama City Beach offers beach activities for everybody. In 2008 TripAdvisor®, the world's largest travel community, ranked Panama City Beach number two on its Top Ten Beaches in the USA.

Q: What is there for the kids to do?
A: Panama City Beach has something for everyone: Sand, Sun, Sea and Air plus numerous local attractions.
